ATRONIC wins systems contract with Theros and Vivere Casinos

2009/10/21 -

ATRONIC’s Systems Division is providing a comprehensive range of systems solutions to three casinos owned by Theros International Gaming and Vivere Entertainment Group.

In total, more than 800 gaming machines at the Rio, Xanthi and Corfu casinos in Greece will be equipped with ATRONIC’s CRYSTAL WEB™ platform, the internationally acclaimed, machine-independent platform boasting the first Ethernet-to-machine network worldwide.

The contract includes equipping 311 machines at Casino Rio (near Patras), 178 machines at Casino Xanthi, and 311 machines at Casino Corfu which will be operated soon.

The contract includes the Star|SLOTS, Star|JACKPOTS and Star|MARKETING modules, as well as ATRONIC’s chip cash™ cashless solution.

An advanced slot management system, Star|SLOTS gives customers more efficient slot accounting and slot floor maintenance. It provides an accurate snapshot of the gaming floor – in real time, and anytime. Star|JACKPOTS increases revenue by boosting play, and saves money by allowing immediate response to gaming floor activity. Based on customer-focused strategies, and built on a scalable architecture, Star|MARKETING delivers player-related data tailored to individual businesses’ needs – all in real time.

Meanwhile, chip cash offers maximum player convenience, higher revenues and the benefits of a highly versatile marketing tool. Furthermore, chip cash provides players with an easier and more compelling experience across all touch points, whether on slot machines, tables, kiosks, or POS terminals. chip cash is clean, easy to handle, and offers high security features. To date, ATRONIC has connected chip cash to more than 30,000 machines in more than 100 venues and 30 countries worldwide.

“Theros and Vivere Casinos are pleased to offer our players the benefits and convenience of ATRONIC`s advanced systems solutions,” said Alex Al Bampoul, the General Manager of Casino Rio. “We believe our partnership with ATRONIC will bring greater efficiencies and growth for our facilities, and enhance overall player experience.”

“Following the technological developments and willing to bring a new era of gaming into the Greek market, our company group - which holds 1/3 of the total gaming licenses in Greece - has chosen GALAXIS from ATRONIC as its main online system for marketing and accounting. We are confident that our customers and our company will both benefit from ATRONIC´s chip cash solution and that true cashless gaming will become a fact in Greece within our Casinos,” added Vasilis Efthimiadis, General Manager of Casino Xanthi.

“It´s a great honour for ATRONIC that Theros International Gaming and Vivere Entertainment Group have chosen our systems solutions for their three Greek casinos. This decision is a clear indication that they put their players first and demonstrates that our customers recognize the value and power of our comprehensive and flexible system solutions,“ said Simon Dorsen, Sales Director with ATRONIC‘s Systems Division.
