Atronic Named in Top 25

The Great Place to Work® Institute Inc. recently held its annual competition that distinguishes the best places to work in Austria. Based on major findings of 20 years of research this competition defines the “trust between managers and employees as the primary defining characteristic of the very best workplaces”. A Great Place to Work is a place where employees “trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do, and enjoy the people they work with”.
During a gala night, held in Vienna on February 26th ATRONIC Austria was awarded an outstanding 12th place after being named in the top 25 companies in first round selections. The competition was conducted through an anonymous questionnaire to all employees of the competing companies relating to the fields of reliability, respect, fairness, pride and team orientation.
From ATRONIC employee’s point of view, co-worker satisfaction and motivation are being experienced in their everyday work. Through special programs like the “Healthy Great People” and it´s “Feng Shui” working environment ATRONIC has shown the company’s efforts to create a great work place for high potential, highly motivated people.
The results showed that 90% of ATRONIC employees are happy with the working environment and the tools with which they are provided to do their job. Further to that, 94% of the employees stated that at ATRONIC they truly can be who they are. There was also an above average result in questions relating to the field of fairness.
Delighted by the results, CEO of the ATRONIC Group, Gerhard Burda stated that “Our enterprise guiding principle “Great Games, Great People” stands for the equal importance of product and humans in the enterprise’s everyday life. We know that highly motivated co-workers side by side with our outstanding products are our most important capital and therefore we encourage them to bring their positive energy into the work place”.
Even though ATRONIC is an international enterprise a big portion of its employee base is in Austria with the development centre in Unterpremstätten, manufacturing in Gross St. Florian and the head office of ATRONIC SYSTEMS in Grambach. Management are happy with the results from the competition but continue to strive to make Atronic an even better place to work.
